Bradford Hill did not go straight into law from school. After finishing his education, he spent a year in Central Queensland trying his hand as a Jackeroo. It did not quite stick.

Bradford's father served in the Army in Vietnam. That connection to service shaped the direction that followed. Bradford enlisted in the Australian Army, beginning in the Signals Corps and finishing in the Intelligence Corps. During that time, he travelled through South East Asian countries and developed a working knowledge of new languages along the way.

After leaving the Army, he moved into coal mining in Queensland's Bowen Basin. It was during that period that he developed a serious interest in Acts and Regulations and made the decision to study law.

That background, practical, varied, and grounded in real working life, shapes the way Bradford approaches legal work. His clients are not abstractions. They are people with jobs, families, and futures at stake.

Bradford's preferred practice areas are criminal law and its intersection with family law and domestic violence. He understands that these areas do not exist in isolation and that a decision in one proceeding can ripple through another. When a client's matter crosses those lines, he is across all of it.

Outside of work, Bradford goes to the gym, walks his dog, plays Pickleball, and (like most people of a certain age) listens to Taylor Swift in his sauna. Please don't judge him.
