Register as a Visitor
All personal visitors must be approved before their first visit. Complete a Visitor Registration Form through Queensland Corrective Services. Approval can take several weeks.
02
Book Your Visit
Once approved, visits must be booked in advance. Contact the facility directly or use the Queensland Corrective Services online booking system. Walk-in visits are generally not available.
03
Bring Approved ID
All visitors must provide acceptable photo identification at the facility. Approved ID types vary by facility. Check requirements when booking.
04
Arrive on Time
Arrive at or before your scheduled time. Late arrivals may not be admitted. Allow time for entry screening and security processing.

Legal Visits
If Your Family Member Needs a Lawyer
Legal visits are arranged separately from personal visits and are not subject to the same booking restrictions. Solicitors can attend facilities to take instructions, provide advice, and prepare clients for upcoming court appearances.
If someone you care about is held in a Queensland correctional centre and needs legal representation, BJH Law can help. Bradford Hill attends correctional centres across Queensland to meet with clients personally.
If a matter is urgent, call Bradford directly. He answers at any hour at no cost, and can advise on next steps immediately.
Criminal Charges
Representation for clients held on remand or sentenced, including bail applications, plea advice, and trial preparation.
Domestic Violence Matters
Advice and representation where a DVO is connected to criminal proceedings or where conditions affect a detained person.
Family Law Proceedings
